Healthy, Crunchy, Quick & Easy! Really no reason not to make!

PREP: 30mins || BAKE: 10mins || COOL: 30mins

Cookie Dough

  • 2 Cups Slivered Almonds

  • 1/4 Cup Maple Syrup

  • 2 Tbsps White Sesame Seeds

  • 1/2 Tsp Kosher Salt

Mix, Bake, n Cool

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit

  2. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper, cut a second sheet of parchment paper the same size and place to the side

  3. Place the Slivered Almonds in a food processor bowl, and pulse to chop the nuts down to a coarse consistency

  4. Place the chopped almonds in a bowl with the Sesame Seeds and the Salt, stirring to combine completely

  5. Pour in the maple syrup to the bowl and mix to combine completely

  6. Using a spoon or your fingers, make small clumps of cookies approximately 2 Tbsps in size spaced evenly on the parchment lined tray

  7. Place the additional piece of parchment paper over the top of the mounds, and using an additional baking sheet press the cookies down as flat as you can

  8. Remove the top backing sheet, and use your fingers to message down any remaining heightened areas on the cookies

  9. The cookies will not change size while cooking, so a thin, and well shaped cookie before baking is key to giving you the results you desire

  10. Place the cookies in the oven on the middle tray

  11. Check for the edges browning at 8 mins, and continue cooking until you see a golden color formed at the edge of each cookie

  12. Let the cookies cool on the tray completely before peeling them off the parchment

  13. Enjoy! and store any additional cookies in an air tight container, as moisture will make these cookies de-crisp and fall a part
